Beware of paying cash does not mean a terrorist. All Africans pay cash and is not part if option for travelers and cannot assume that associate with any terrorist party.
There are no Alternative payment like in the west, credit card payments are rare in Africa not all business except credit card if they do they may add 20% additional fee may be visa/master card or any credit card issuer are not fan of African business. Even from The USA, I have to pay with cash to travel to Africa when I buy direct from state owned airlines.
